05/23/2019

The Iowa State Police Association is pleased to announce the arrival of Jeff Hutton to its staff.

Hutton will work with the ISPA in the areas of charitable giving and public relations, helping to raise funds for the organization while at the same time, promoting positive stories about law enforcement professionals in Iowa.

A native of Vinton and a graduate of Iowa State University, Hutton has been a working journalist for nearly 30 years, most recently serving as the editor of the Marshalltown Times-Republican newspaper, and before that, editor of the Ottumwa Courier.

During his tenure in Marshalltown, Hutton penned a number of law enforcement articles and editorials including leading his staff in recognizing public servants through a year-long series and helping to raise funds for new ballistic protective equipment for Marshall County, Marshalltown and State Center first responders.

Hutton welcomes any fundraising or PR ideas from ISPA members and is available via phone at (319) 431-1660 or through email at jhuttonispa@gmail.com
