Training Purpose: To provide law enforcement officers with information and strategies to more effectively recognize and investigate elder abuse cases. This training is a general overview of elder abuse that builds on the dynamics of domestic violence and sexual assault.

• Identify the forms of elder abuse
• Describe factors that influence an elder abuse investigation
• Conduct effective elder abuse investigations to enhance victim safety and hold perpetrators accountable

• Small group exercise
• Large group discussions
• Interactive exercises

Elder Abuse Investigations - 8:00 – 11:45

*While we understand that scheduling conflicts occur, participants are asked to be present for the entire training.
