The 88th General Assembly 

2020 Iowa Legislative SESSION TIMETABLE*

First day of session is January 13, 2020. The ISPA Board and Lobbyists will be monitoring bills important to Iowa Law Enforcement. If you have input you would like to share with the Board please contact us. You can use the Contact Us tab or select a board member photo and email. 

The Blue Alert bill did not make it through the legislature in 2019. We will be working to get support for that again this year.

As always it is important to make contact with your legislator. Members are encouraged to share their thoughts on legislation being debated. You can find your legislator HERE

The ISPA Legislative Day is February 6th. We would encourage you to attend and show support for Iowa Law Enforcement.
