This two-week school, presented by the State Fire Marshal Division and the Fire Service Training Bureau, will provide intensive instruction and skill in the following areas:

• Financial Information
• Evidence Collection & Preservation
• Incendiary/Homicide Investigation
• Interviews/Legal Aspects
• Incendiary Fire Investigation
• Building Construction
• Insurance Fraud
• Accidental Fires
• Electrical Fires
• Motives
• Explosives
• Fatal Fires
• Fire Behavior
• Motor Vehicle Fires

Registration

The Registration Fee is $375.00 and includes break food and lunches each class day, as well as all printed/reference materials handed out during the two week school.

Class Limit: 40 participants

Note: Course registrations are entered in the order they are received. However, the
FSTB reserves the right to screen all applications to assess current roles and
responsibilities. Priority seating consideration will be given to those personnel who
are currently fulfilling an Investigator role or actively participating in the investigation
process within their organization or jurisdiction. The FSTB reserves the right to limit
enrollment per department to two participants. For departments with multiple enrollment,
the Fire Service Training Bureau may contact your department to establish priority.
