Dennis Peter Strumberger

December 9, 1947 - December 23, 2025

Dennis Peter Strumberger, 78, passed away on December 23, 2025, from a heart attack in Omaha, Nebraska. He was born in Dubuque, Iowa, to Joseph and Lorene (Engling) Strumberger. Following his service in the Army and time as a conductor on the Milwaukee railroad, Dennis served as a Dubuque police officer for 23 years.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Kay (Banck) Strumberger; son, Joe Strumberger (Deb); two grandsons, Conor and Hugh; and brother, Donald Strumberger (Carole) of Dubuque, Iowa.
