TRAINING

 The Elmhurst Honor Guard Academy, a division of the Elmhurst Fire Dept., 2014 honor guard training schedule is now available. Located in the Chicago area the academy has been instructing law enforcement and fire service personnel from around the country in all aspects of honor guard, color guard, and funeral procedures since 2006. Whether it’s line of duty, non-line of duty, or a retiree, each year departments and agencies are left to deal with the loss of their members. It is essential that your department’s honor guard is prepared to perform their duties correctly and with respect. The unique training offered in our classes and by our instructors will insure confidence and knowledge to all honor guard members, regardless of their experience.
