PRESIDENT'S REPORT

By Becki Sammons, ISPA President                                                        Iowa City Local # 16

Hello fellow ISPA members,

I am honored to represent all of you as this year’s president of the ISPA, which just celebrated its 90th year. Past-President Josh Bell and the members of the CRPPA certainly helped us celebrate in style with a fantastic conference in Cedar Rapids. Their hard work and dedication really paid off, I would especially like to recognize the amazing hospitality and friendliness of everyone who worked so hard to make it happen—Local 5 really did have our Six!

Greetings Iowa State Police Association (ISPA) members. As your newly elected Jr. Director to the ISPA Board, I would like to take a moment to introduce myself.

I hail from the Northeast Iowa city of Cresco and have since put down my roots in the Cedar Valley. My wife, Kelley, and I have been married for 13 years. We have two girls, ages 11 and 8. We enjoy taking road trips around the state as well as venturing into neighboring Wisconsin. If you know of any great Iowa adventures, please let me know.
